The ad, which is part of the OBSESSION IS NATURAL campaign launched last month and creative directed by Kobe Bryant, will air locally during the upcoming games as well as be featured online. Klay joins a roster of superstar athletes who also appear in the campaign – so far James Harden and Skylar Diggins have had their ads released with more to come throughout the summer.
Bryant has shifted his focus from the court to directing short films and commercials. In this case, Bryant and Thompson were able to come together to share with the world the type of obsession a player needs to be great in the NBA.
As Thompson mentions in the ad, it’s more than just shooting jumpers, it takes time in the weight room and plenty of drills that won’t even involve a ball. If this ad doesn’t get your juices flowing, I don’t know what will.
