NBA: Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have the best record in the NBA and they’ve accomplished that feat by playing exceptional basketball on both ends of the floor. However, that is still not good enough for some people to classify them as a good team.

The Warriors are preparing to host the Houston Rockets tomorrow night, the last game of a four game season series. The Warriors have come out victorious each and every time, including the 131-106 beat down they gave the Rockets on Saturday in Houston.

Before the game on Saturday, the Rockets were hyped up to play the Warriors. The official Houston Rockets Instagram account recorded the players as they prepared to go out onto the court. James Harden, the teams’s leader, brought his team together to give them so final words of inspiration. Here’s some of what he said:

They beat us already twice. They ain’t that good man, let’s go!

Looks like Harden isn’t easily impressed. The Warriors have the best back court in the NBA, Steph Curry is an MVP candidate and Klay Thompson should be an All-Star this season. 33 wins in 39 opportunities and they are not that good? That’s a bit harsh Mr. Harden.

Well, it doesn’t look like Harden’s pregame pep talk worked. The Rockets were competitive in the first half, but the Warriors ran away with it in the second half. The Dubs outscored the Rockets 67-47. Maybe Harden forgot to deliver another memorable rallying cry after halftime, or maybe the Warriors are that good and the second half proved it.

If Harden doesn’t think the Warriors aren’t that good, he must think the Rockets suck.
