HARRISON BARNES TEAMS UP WITH HYPEIST FOR NYC SCAVENGER HUNT

The Golden State Warriors will continue their quest to posterize the entire NBA in New York this Sunday, January 31st, against the Knicks. Tickets are tight, so Warriors’ Harrison Barnes will be bringing back his #HBQuest scavenger hunt competition, giving fans in NYC the chance to snag some seats to the game.

Barnes, the tech-savvy small forward, is known for taking his interactions with fans to the next level through postgame interviews with fans on Periscope, creating a P.O. box where fans can send memorabilia to get autographed, and hosting scavenger hunts in the Bay Area.

Now he is teaming up with Hypeist, the Instagram account that creates scavenger hunts for exclusive prizes. For this #HBQuest, they will not only be hiding pairs of tickets to the Warriors @ Knicks game, which will include a meet and greet with Barnes, but will also offer up swag for those that can find it.

Here’s how the interactive scavenger hunt will work:

The hunt will go live on Sunday, January 31st at 2PM EST in NYC. Hypeist will be releasing all clues through their Instagram account. Once the hunt is live, you’ll be searching for hidden Hypeist tokens, which you reedeem for the prizes. You’ll need to decrypt clues and take on challenges to find hidden tokens, so you better be ready to flex your Harrison Barnes, Warriors, and NBA knowledge.

Tokens can take many forms basketball memorabilia, locks, art pieces, etc. If you find a token, you must DM a photo of it to Hypeist on Instagram and they’ll let you know how and where to snag your #HBQuest reward. For everything you need to know about the hunt head to Hypeist.com and follow both @hbarnes and @hypeist on Instagram.
