Stephen Curry connected layup with 3.2 seconds left in the 4th quarter. He tallied 25 points leading the Warriors past the Rockets 102-99 in overtime.

James Harden knocked down a go-ahead jumper and Curry responded with an off-hand layup over Dwight Howard. Jermaine O’Neal, who replaced the injured Andrew Bogut, had the defensive play of the night. The veteran center rejected Chandler Parsons’ baseline dunk attempt at the rim.

Curry hit two free throws that put Golden State ahead 98-85 with just under 16 seconds left.

Harden gave the Warriors all they could handle. 34 of his 39 points came in the second half. His efforts kept a poor shooting Houston team in the game all night.

Aside from Curry and Harden, David Lee and Dwight Howard had noteworthy night. Lee scored a team-high 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Dwight Howard snagged 21 rebounds and contributed with 11 points.

Steve Blake made his first appearance for the Warriors tonight. He came into the game with 4:34 remaining in the opening frame. He gave the fans a source of excitement with a 3-point shot in the final seconds of the quarter.

Blake finished his night with three points, one assist and two rebounds.

The Warriors will look continue their winning ways against the Brooklyn Nets on Feb. 22nd.
