Warriors comeback From 27

Who would have thought a Warriors vs. Raptors regular season game would include the two best records in the NBA? Nearly no one, but that’s what we will get when they take the floor at Oracle Arena. This game also features two of the best point guards in Steph Curry and Kyle Lowry. This should have been the battle of the backcourts, but DeMar DeRozan is out with a leg injury.

Most people are expecting an exciting hard fought game from two teams who are not used to being atop the NBA standings. While they only play each other twice in the regular season, they’ve already played a thrilling game at Oracle.

The Raptors came into Oracle on December 3, 2013 last season and they built a commanding 27 point lead by the third quarter. For most teams that deficit would be insurmountable, but not the Warriors. They were able to cut the lead down to 18 at the end of the third and the Warriors came out firing on all cylinders in the final period.

The Warriors outscored the Raptors 64-28 with a little over nine minutes left in the third quarter. They hit 10 out of their 20 three pointers and the Splash Brothers combined for 49 points. This game was insane, hopefully tonight’s game will bring more of the same, but without the Warriors being down 27.
