The Golden State Warriors are entering the 2014-15 season with most of their roster in good health. Festuz Ezeli and Shaun Livingston are both battling back from injury, but both will likely be ready for the start of the season. Andre Iguodala broke his nose during their 120-105 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, but he should be able to play through it.

While Iguodala had to miss practice yesterday to get his nose checked out, he will travel with the team to Ontario to take on the Los Angeles Lakers in their second pre-season match-up. Steve Kerr is sure Iguodala will suit up tomorrow, but does not know whether he will be in the starting line-up.

I don’t know, we’ll see. I have to talk to Johan, we’ll figure it out tomorrow.

Coach Kerr is confident that Iguodala will not be slowed down by the injury. Iguodala did participate in non-contact drills at practice today, but had to leave early to get fitted for his mask.

He didn’t go live because he doesn’t have his mask yet; he already left to get his mask fitted, but he went through all the non-contact stuff.

Wearing a mask should not be a big deal for the 10 year veteran, but it surely will take some time to adjust. Luckily, this isn’t a serious injury to the starting small forward, although the Warriors do have plenty of depth to replace him in his absence. Iguodala is coming off a season in which he saw his offensive numbers dip, but his role on this team is to be an excellent perimeter defender, but Kerr’s new offense is getting everybody more involved offensively.
