Strengths: Good hands and quick feet. Biedrins is an active player on both ends of the floor, who always seems to be around the ball. A very good rebounder, and a capable shot blocker.  Has good touch around the basket and does a nice job catching hot passes in the paint.  More quick and efficient than powerful, but a capable finisher nonetheless.  Seems to have an excellent feel for timing and spacing and often slides into the open spot, making himself an available target.  Rebounds well in traffic and extremely quick to loose balls.  Andris creates extra possessions with his quickness and his activity.  Has shown the handle and the footwork to beat his man one-on-one, but this aspect of his game is still a work in progress.

Weaknesses: Needs to get stronger, but not at the expense of his mobility.  He's an effective finisher, but his shooting stroke needs work. While he can face up and attack opposing Cs, his range is limited by his lack of a jumper. Must improve his free throw shooting. Back to the basket game is still a work in progress, but he's shown signs this season. Defensively, he can be overly aggressive at times. He needs to learn to stay home on the fakes and realize that he can alter a shot without blocking it.

Outlook: Andris is a bright young talent. He's one of the youngest starters in the league and has already shown the tools to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He's barely scratched the surface of his potential and will need to continue to work and progress to fully maximize his talents.
