Update: JRich fined but will play

Also for your reading pleasure the pathetic whinings of your average Mavericks fan. Seriously, these guys need to concentrate on getting their team to play like a 67 game winner and less on what the Warriors are doing.  They also might consider encouraging their team to flop less.

"EXACTLY. god i hate stern so bad. i don't have hate towards very many people but I hate this man. He constantly is biased towards the players he likes and the teams he wants to win. It's in the god damn rule book that a player cannot have ANY altercations with the fans, that even involves going to the stands like DJ did. he was suspended 4 games for that! jrich has some choice words for a fan, as well as a physical altercation and NOTHING. he has a history of violence as well. This is such BS. How is Stern still in office? he's so corrupt that it's not even funny. You all know for a fact that if it was a Mavs player, they would be suspended many games for doing much less."

Richardson is apparently still a game time decision pending the outcome of an incident at the end of Game 5 where he fell out of bounds after being hacked by Dirk on a 3 point attempt. Richardson was tangled up with a fan on the sidelines and the fan claims JRich hit him as he got up. The league is still reviewing the incident after interviewing the Mavs fan involved.

Apparently Mark Cuban is also lobbying heavily for a suspension, wonder why? Could it be that the whiney Mavs dont' feel they can win a game against the #8 seed without help from the league. Sad but probably true, I wouldn't put anything past the Mavs and their whiney, crybaby owner.

The entire incident could probably be characterized more as JRich was trying to get up and the dumb Mavs fan was impeding him and probably too drunk to remember anything.
