Barnett's reduced use of the phrases "cerebral" and "basketball IQ" will be inversely proportional to the number of concealed weapons in the locker room.

Those two clowns got their chances. Got their years of experience. Got plenty of positive treatment, endless patience and support from the coaching staff, who did every conceivable thing to help them succeed for 5+ years (with the exception of Muss).
And they delivered squat.
See you later.

I find it fitting that on Dun's last game here, he was booed. Maybe, subconciously, we all knew.

Mark my words, Dunleavy will perform like a WNBA all star

Don't be surprised if like so many ex-warriors...

Murph & Dun blow up in Indy (I kind of expect Ike to excel). We needed to get rid of them, but part of the Warrior curse is that ex-players suddenly become better elsewhere.

I thought if ANYBODY could "save" Dunleavy and bring out the best in him, it would be Nellie with his up-tempo style and utilization of the "point-forward" concept.
But, despite the table being set for him (named a captain, given a green light, small ball, etc..) he just disappeared.
Finally, as my patience wore thin, the missed layups, the soft non-finishes, the reluctance to finish strong, the whiny complaints to ref's just got harder and harder to take
My buddies that I play ball with that I argued with about him have been told they were right.
I was just wrong, too naively optimistic that he would some day "get it" and show he can be an NBA baller.
He is soft. He is timid. He is weak, both physically and mentally. Then, to truly tip the scales, he became way overpaid.
I'm not sorry to see him gone.
Ike's the only guy I think we'll miss long term.

I think Sarunas and Jackson will make as much impact as AH. We have a very balanced roster right now. As far as Pacer's roster...hmmm..not sure what they are thinking about there. Of course, you can plug pretty much anybody next to Jermaine, but come on...The Murphy's contract is one of the worst in the NBA. Perhaps Bird sees something in Diogu and Dunleavy to take upon Murphy;s contract and to get rid of 3 very solid Pacers players. Good trade for the Warriors, no doubts.

            -Fandorin

If Al Harrington immediately forgets how to shoot the 3 and only shoots jumpers..

If Sarunas turns into a shorter Dunleavy...
If Stephen Jackson gets 30 minutes a night and drives me crazy....
If Ike becomes an Eastern All-Star PF...
I'll still feel great about this trade because we dumped Dunleavy's and Murphy's contracts. Just purely on a salary cap analysis, this trade is great.
Now add the fact that Harrington is a better player than either Murphy or Dunleavy and that he's also cheaper.
Now add that Sarunas gives them a legitimate backup PG who is better than McLeod and keeps Monta as a scorer instead of a faux PG.
Suddenly, any analysis of this deal by non-Warriors fans that says that Harrington is a horse with a horn glued on just doesn't mean a damn thing. This is a great trade.
Period.
End of discussion.

           -Shallow Hal

seriously did we lose ANYTHING at all in this trade?

Murfleavy and McLeod are negatives to this team
Ike is a positive, but since Nellie doesn't play him anyway, we don't lose much by losing him.
instead, we get Al, Jax, Jake, even Josh, who all should flourish under Nellie's scheme
