Warriors 1 1/2 Back Of Clippers Going Into Thursday Print E-mail

With the Clippers 92-87 loss to the Rockets the Warriors are only 1 1/2 out going into Thursday nights game against Phoenix at home. New Orleans lost to San Antonio placing them further out at 32-40.  A warriors win tomorrow night puts them at 34-39.  With the Clippers seeming to fad a bit with some help from other teams the Warriors could potentially pull it out.  It's a three horse race to the finish.

The Warriors need help from Phoenix, LA Lakers,  Dallas, San Antonio to take care of Denver. Unlikely the Nuggets will lose 2 in the same week to the fading Sonics.

The Clippers face the Kings and Lakers twice before the end of the season so any help from them would be appreciated.

The W's have Utah and San Antonio, teams that we do not play well against, but winnable games against Dallas, Memphis twice, Minnesota and Portland.  With 10 games left the W's should win no less than 6 leaving them at 39-43 for the season.

It is going to go down to the wire, but the Warriors can control their own destiny and need very little help from other teams.
