Sources tell Warriorsworld.net that Baron Davis and his representatives recently met with Chris Mullin and Coach Don Nelson to discuss a contract extension for Davis. Sources say, the Warriors have a offer on the table for Baron in which they would extend his contract for 3years $50 million. The extension would kick in after next season. The only thing holding this deal back is Baron wanting a team or player option for a 4th season. Both sides agreed to continue talks around late september prior to camp.

Sources also tell Warriorworld.net, that Coach Nelson wants a 2 year deal worth around $10 million dollars with a personal option for the 3rd year with a $2 million dollar buyout. The Warriors have balked at that idea and will only grant a team option for a 3rd season with no buyout.
